Who We Are

Founded in 2014 in Ventura County, California by Sha, a computer science major who has a love for decoration and passion for design. Tired of her 9-5 boring job, she decided to pursue her passion by starting a home staging business. It was not easy in the beginning, but her hard work and natural sense of style paid off. Within a couple of years, her business took off and started gaining recognition among local real estate agents.

Several years ago, Sha met Mendy, her future business partner and the current owner of D&S when she was hired by Mendy to stage her investment property. when Mendy decided to put her property on the market, she was a bit concerned with her property's huge add-on family room as it did not fit with the rest of the property layout. She decided to solve this issue by hiring a professional to stage her property. Boy, what a difference it had made! She was astonished at the result the staging created. Her property received multiple offers and was sold above asking price in just two days. As a real estate agent herself who has always been keen on styles and passionate about home decoration, she decided to shift her focus from real estate sales to home staging and design, while taking advantage of her knowledge and experience in real estate. Under the mentorship of Sha, she began her own career as a staging professional.

Today, D&S is growing steadily and has received rave reviews in the local market. We own our entire inventory of furniture, artworks and decor so we can have better control of our staging results. Lately, we brought onboard Terry who is a super handyman who is making sure that our warehouse is well organized, and all our furniture is in top shape. We constantly update our inventory to stay current in home-style trend. In the meantime, we try our best to offer competitive rates and flexible terms to meet our customers' needs.
